Welcome to NOE, a music meze tavern in Piraeus since 1901.
NOE has been part of Piraeus since 1901. More than a hundred years have passed and much has changed, but its soul is still the same. Today we carry on with the same love for good food and good company. You’ll find us among old wine barrels and photos from another time, in a room with a touch of the old rebetiko joints. We cook the way it used to be done, with good produce from all over Greece: fava from Feneos, sausage from Syros, kaltsounia from Crete. And when the musicians start playing rebetiko and old Greek songs, the tsipouro goes down a little easier. Come for a plate of meze and stay for the music.

At NOE we cook with fresh, seasonal ingredients from all over Greece. We keep the old, home-style recipes and now and then add a little touch of our own. So every dish tastes the way you remember, with something new to surprise you.

At NOE, music is part of the evening. On our music nights, musicians play live rebetiko, Greek folk and much-loved old songs, right beside the tables.

NOE has been part of central Piraeus for more than a century. Since 1901, many generations have come here for a good meal and a glass of wine. Today the taverna carries on, renewed but with the same respect for tradition and the same warm welcome. The old barrels and photos on the walls tell its history, while new stories are written every night.
